Tonia and Curt Doussett founded ComedyBox Utah in 1999. The room sits in historic downtown Provo at 36 West Center Street. It has been the family-friendly improv room for more than 25 years. It started as ComedySportz.
Two teams still battle head-to-head from audience suggestions, Friday and Saturday. Doors at 7:00. The classic show at 7:30. Seating is first-come.
They also run private events, workshops, and a five-week crash course in the basics: yes-and, storytelling, public speaking, confidence, and trust. The club is Utah’s premiere professional comedy club.
