JohnPaul Ryan founded Throw Art Studio in Provo. He discovered pottery in a high school art class, bought his own wheel, and started throwing in a garage in Ogden. He later moved to Provo for Brigham Young University, and that garage studio became Throw Art Studio.

Walk in at 308 E 300 S, through the door going into the garage. The studio offers beginner and experienced ceramics classes, flexible pottery memberships, workshops, and group events such as birthdays, corporate activities, and pottery bachelorette parties. After-school classes are for kids and teens. The mission is to love people through art.
