John Piquet roasts at caffe d’bolla in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City’s first micro roaster and siphon bar. The artisan-roasted-coffee page says John has been roasting there since 2005.

Coffees are award-winning small-batch single-origin. The shop is at 299 South Main, Suite 130, on the east side of the Wells Fargo Center. The siphon bar is in-house.

The siphon bar is not a to-go espresso. John brews single-origin coffee by the cup, by hand, in house, and serves it black only. He recommends a full hour so you can taste the flavors change as the cup cools. The roastery is recognized by Salt Lake Magazine, Zagat, and Utah Best of State.
