Erik Maki owns Service First Pest Management in West Jordan. He names the company after the job: “We are a customer service focused pest control company. We focus on Service First.” He says the residential work should feel red-carpet and the commercial work should beat what the regulators ask for.
He started in pest control in Las Vegas in the early 2000s. After 16 years he cashed out the 401k, put $3,500 of $5,000 into a 16-year-old truck, and opened his own shop with his wife and kids behind him.
They treat homes and businesses in the Salt Lake valley. Most jobs still come by referral.
